Medical Adhesive Remover is a solvent that dissolves the adhesive used to affix wound care bandages, medical tapes, ostomy systems and other medical devices to the skin. Removal of these items without a medical adhesive remover may cause pain, inflammation and abrasion to your skin, as medical adhesives are sticky and hard to remove without a medical adhesive remover. As dressings, tapes and ostomy systems need to be constantly replaced, forcing removal repeatedly will damage your skin and may increase the size of an existing wound.
